supposed to be x-country today,but was cancelled due to the rain.sharon,dan,deb and i were quite happy about it,cos we had planned to rent movies and chill out at deb's house and that means we did not need to rush through the movies.

anywae,we had an unpleasant time trying to rent a movie for EZ-video(tt's shd be the name of the shop, i think).anywae,the moment we walked into the shop, the STOOPID in-charge was like.."no bags allowed.put ur bags at the entrance."like hello??so this is how u treat customers-by distrust.we were trying to be cool bout it, so we just listen to her.then we chose "bring it on" and was about to pay when she asked for our ICs.urm...how come we need to have our ICs when we rent a movie,esp when the movie is totally not NC-16 or porn or anything?it's just a teen flick that even a 3-year-old kid can watch!!!!!so when we said we dun have and asked if we can let her see our EZ-link card instead,she insisted that we must show her our ICs.hello???EZ-link card serves quite the same purpose right?to prove our identity.she just said,"no."wat a sucky attitude!!!

so we just walked out of the shop, since she's so mean to us.just as we were buying food from cold storage, we saw shijun.she actually had the membership card, so we brought her along to help us rent the movie.the freaking in-charge was like telling shijun,"u must make sure ur friend will return this VCD.i know that ur friends are not happy with me.",when i was like beside shijun???then we had to wait very long as she asked for shijun's particulars and even her school and class!woah...

we are going to boycott that shop for now on.tt's for sure.

anywae, we had a good time watching "bring it on" at deb's house.though it's like my second time watching the movie(but it's the first time for sharon and deb),the movie's still very nice.cool cheerleading stuff...and really groovy moves..it's a really cool and hilarious show!!!after "bring it on", we watch "school of rock" again...it's like the 8th time for deb..and she's still laughing like a hyena...haha...

it's nice to watch movies at deb's house.let's do it again ok???yup.:)

it's been 3 days since my new haircut.know wat?i hate it.i really feel like strangling the hairdresser.my gosh,if u aren't good enough to be one,please dun.my hair is ruined all because of u!!!!urgh!i'm trying very hard to tell myself that my hair is ok, it's fine.but the fact is that it's NOT.

minority report is such a good film!!! everybody...watch it if u haven't!well..i know it's kinda an old film(2002), and i'm a bit slow.but still, good films are always good.i'm just glad i get to watch it.:)

i like my uncle's room a lot.cos it's like a mini-theater.with surround sound system,dim lights and quite a huge tv.cool right??uh!love it..and with the large variety of DVDs that he owns...it's a double plus!yup...so yesterday when i went my grandma's house, i chose minority reports.woah!!it's a beautifully filmed show..with a damn good-looking guy in it.Tom Cruise!!!the whole movie is loaded with lots of futuristic gadgets and inventions, which are all very very cool. haha..uhhhh!!!i'm so into sci-fi movies now...first it's GATTACA and now it's MINORITY REPORT!sci-fi movies are nice and intellectual movies!!! they make us ponder...

yeah! i love watching movies!!!!

reasons why today is a bad day for me
1.i nearly lost my voice.it's so soft and croaky that i can't even hear myself.
2.i brought an empty wallet out.forgot to bring money,not even a cent.felt so insecure without any cash!!!
3.i waited for my stoopid bus for 40 mins.
4.i had a blister on my foot.
5.my nose hasn't stop running,hasn't stop being blocked, and hasn't stop sneezing.
6.i just realised that i lost 2 of my favourite cds.boo.

how bad can a day get?

though it feels crappy with a stoopid nose,i still like to fall sick.haha..as in, not that kind of serious sickness, cannot-get-out-of-bed type.just those flu that is enough to make me feel tired,but i can still move around sort.cos then, i can stay in bed without feeling guilty, and get special attention from mom.haha..sounds kinda silly..but it's just nice to stay at home and relax right?weekend's not enough for relaxation anymore.so the only way is to get sick. but i feel dumb falling sick during weekend.uh..wat's the point??shit..still have c.lit test on monday.boo...

i'm trying hard not to show how i feel exactly.actually, it's cos i dunno how i should feel.boo.

and it really doesn't help when i woke up today with a sore throat,with one of my nostrils was blocked and the other running.i used a total of three packets of tissue paper!!(thanks to jingxiu,meiting and ziling for their generous contribution of tissue papers.(:)that was how bad my runny nose was.*sniff*

anywae..JJ lin jun jie came to our school for a mini concert.well, i wasn't a big fan, cos i dun feel much. but it's still rather exciting to have a celebrity to be in school right? haha...u shd see how jessie, kailin and meiting rushed from classroom to hall. they were fast.so fast that they were able to get seats right in front JJ.haah..

anywae, after the concert, 2/8ers went out again!!jac,zhihui,siyou,wanyi,deb,xiutang and i went to venezia for ice cream..i didn't want to go initally, cos i was feeling quite bad.with runny nose and all that, i shdn't be going for ice cream.but uh..can't help the temptation.hee..

i'm glad i went. it's always nice to be with 2/8ers. jac was telling us lotsa stories to entertain us.she's SOOOO funny!!!so funny till all of us can't stop laughing and i was laughing till my face, heart and stomach ached.it's THAT funny!haha...she has become very auntie-ish, which adds the X-element to her story-telling skills.haha..i love 2/8ers!!

mat,deb,dan and i went to bukit timah plaza to have lunch and to do math. our initial plan was to go sakae sushi with sheila and kat.but after serious consideration, we decided not to, because:
1.it's too expensive
2.we wanted to study.

i guess we did make the right choice, cos we did a lot of math and we felt very accomplished!:)...and we even got to see pierre png at bukit timah plaza!haha...he was only like maybe 1m or even lesser away from us.mat thinks

he's cute...haha...

i feel a bit sick..shit..i hope i dun get sick at this point of time...

it's national track and field meet today.heard from yuqin that her St nicks friend,who's a councillor, went to national stadium at 5.30am!!!!oh my..that's kinda crazy..i know they wanna "chop" all the strategic locations to place the banners, but that's really early..however, i must really applause for their dedication.

i love nationals!!! so it's like the only time when i can truly feel the nanyang spirit!!!anywae,this is like our last year in nanyang, so it has its significance...i'm really really proud of NY trackers!!they did so well!!i was screaming so much that i thought my head's gonna drop off!

i'm glad i went, but i'm not glad tt it rained SOOOO heavily during the nationals!!! all the councillors were like soaking wet!!!! i nv like being in the rain, so it's very irritating, esp when it started to POUR.in the end, i had to go for tuition being super duper wet and stinking. it's worse when the tuition centre's air con was full blast. i thought i would just shrivel in my seat and just die... for the whole evening, i was like walking in water all the time cos my shoes were soaked with water..it was really gross and i was smelling bad...yucks...

i think i'm going to fall sick.gosh...

yawnn..quite a long day today.had bio test,followed by chem remedial and council interview.it was the time of the year to recruit new elects into council, and sec 4s(us)were the interviewers. so all of us were split into diff groups and my group consisted of hong zhen, kailing and dani.

i must say that the interview that all of us enjoyed the most was the one with audrey! she's so adorable!!! she dark and small.so when we asked her wat's her cca, she went:"track and field, throws", we were really surprised,cos she's kinda too small to be a thrower.haha...anywae, the interview went on..we guessed she's really nervous, cos she stumble on her words quite a number of times...then there's this time, she went," co..cou..cou..council"all of us can't stand it le, then we burst out laughing. it's not that we were mocking at her, but she's really cute when she did that..anyhow, she laughed with us. so the interview was very relaxed.

then kailing asked her this question that's supposed to be testing for one's creativity.here's the question: what is the difference between apple and orange? give ur most creative answer.

the girl thought for bout 30 sec, then she blurted out...orange skin cannot be eaten, but apple skin can be eaten! haha...i have nv thought of that...i would have said apple is red but orange is orange..

went to watch shiru's rhythmic gym competition with a bunch of classmates today. just one word to describe the comp,fascinating!every gymer were looking absolutely great in their uh..skimpy leotards(but some were too revealing and glittery, kinda overbearing)i like to watch those competitors in the optional category..they were damn pro!!some were just perfect..they were like ultra flexible and we were staring with awe when their heads could actually touch their butts.hot faves were those from RGS and St nicks.i think those few are trained to become national gymers.cos they were way too good!

whenever the gymers manage to complete an action perfectly, everybody would be cat-calling and all tt...but if they drop their apparatus,we would feel a sense of pity for them..it's really really really scary to see them drop their apparatus, esp if the ball/hoop rolled out of the mat or the ribbon get tangled up.deb and me were holding our breath and scratching our hands to ease our nerves.can't imagine how the competitors were feeling...must be super nerve-wrecking...

well, NY's B div got 2nd,they were tied with RGS.i'm really proud of NY rhythmic gymers! you girls ROCK!woohoo!!

btw..my school's always talking bout how to cultivate school spirit.here's one simple way:
jolly well send students to support competitions!!!it's quite sad cos ny only have like 3 rows of supporters whereas st nicks and RGS sent blocks of ppl...if we only we have more supporters! we really look quite pathetic as compared to them, esp when we dun even have a school flag. the only sch without a school flag..tt's really bad...boo...i love my school, but i've gotta admit tt our school's spirit is still lacking..

oh!btw..there's this "wild mama club" sitting behind us. there were this bunch of funky moms with pom poms!! they were screaming even louder than us, jumping around wildly and waving their pom poms high up in the air!uh..deb and i were kinda shocked by their actions...cos we can't imagine our own moms doing that..waving pom poms...haha..still, i thought they are cool and really supportive! haah...

to shiru: you were great!! jiayou!nvm if u only get 1/50 for bio..haha..mrs see will understand.:)

really surprising that my c lit teacher didn't come to school today. she has never missed ANY lessons AT ALL before.so all of us are kinda taking this chance to relax and uh...play neopets in the library.haha...

going to watch shiru's rhythmic gym competition later on at 12.30. i like to watch those routine, really poise and sophisticated.but it's a pity that all schools have a fixed routine to do, so it can get kinda dry...but still!i wish that our school can get champion!!JIAYOU shiru!!!muack!

poof..just finished 3 drawings.feels kinda exhausted now.it's been a long long time since i have actually sat now to draw, and the feeling of drawing again is just great!i love to draw!just felt the enthusiasium suddenly, and then went to Popular just to buy a paintbrush.haha...i guess it must be cos i was flipping through a book that my sis had borrowed from her sch library on drawing animals. it's supposed to be for young kids, but hey!the pix in the book is very very pretty.so,i decided to copy some of the pix in there, and include them in my sketch book!i'm so proud of it!yup yup!

feels a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction now.i shall bring the book to school to show it off! haha...

haha..today's english lesson was hilarious.all because of this kaisu thingy.cos today we were discussing bout examinations,whether they shd be abolished or not.so we went on discussion bout the pros and cons, then my teacher touched on the fact bout being competitive and uh...kaisu.we went blur.is that supposed to be kiasu???so we started laughing like mad dogs.sheila nearly wanted to ask her what is the meaning of kaisu.but haha..dun dare to.all day long we kept on talking bout kaisu.sounds like a jap word, doesn't it?haha

rejuvenate our youth
yup yup!youth day celebration today.the long awaited day finally arrived!i love youth day celebration.get to go to sch in home clothes,get to watch talentime and set up stalls!such a happy day!

i must say that our 4/5 stall was so so so so successful!our stall specialised in glitter tattoo and we earned a whooping amt of $648.50 in the end!i was so proud of my class!we were totally involved and yup,it's 4/5 power!

didn't get much during the fun fair, but i ended up wasting quite a lot of money.boo..i really regret doing the hair wrapping thingy.deb and i had the same sentiments.it's such a waste of time and money,and it turned out..ugly.boo..in the end, we had to get steph and jun to help us get it out.i could have used that 5 bucks to do something more useful,like to pay for my movie tix!urgh!the more i think of it,the more pissed i get..but i must say that i'm really pleased with the glitter tattoo and the henna that i did on my ankle(it's the word 'gemini'in herbew,if i'm not wrong)

yeah!2/8ers went to watch MEAN GIRLS after the celebration.has been a long time since we go out together.MEAN GIRLS was pretty funny,lotsa stupid parts.there's this coach who taught the students sex education..and he was like telling them,"if you have sex, u will die"uh..okay.

1.that long long time ago, pandas were actually carnivores?

4.that passenger pigeons can only mate in groups?(which means tt when they mate,other pigeons MUST watch?

gosh.i really can't imagine if i'm mating and other people have to watch.it's like uh..invading privacy?according to mrs see,our bio teacher,who kindly provided us with all the do-you-knows above,she said that passenger pigeons had extincted was due to the fact that they couldn't mate as the group of pigeons had become smaller.(large number of pigeons killed by hunters).group too small, can't mate.no mating,further decline in pigeons.further decline= extinction.uh..cool fact?

deb and i came up with a study plan together today.much to our horror,we only managed to plan for bio.and if we adhere to the plan,we might not even have time for other subs!gosh..7 weeks are not enough at all!!so those who haven't start studying,thinking tt prelims is not going to happen soon,draw up a study plan.you will feel what we felt and see what we saw.

well,my first bio tuition today.was quite nervous before getting into the class,cos i join kinda late,like only now.didn't know anyone in the class,obviously.but i did notice this guy who looks a lot like Utt!yar..the VJ.quite cute..but i only saw his side view.haha...okay,back to the tuition,the teacher's a guy in his mid-40s.i think he was the one who wrote our textbook.(tt's wat sikhi told me)haha..at first i thought he might be a grouchy old man,then the lessons would definitely be super boring and dreadful.turn out tt i'm wrong!he teaches very well(precise concept) and he's awfully humorous.snippets of jokes here and there.a damn funny guy.i'm glad i went for his tuition, and hopefully my bio will improve!:)those who are interested, the tuition's at Parkway Parade!join me if u want to!

went out with my mommy and sisters yesterday.it was supposed to be fun,cos my mom was in the mood to pay for everything and of cos i plan to get something for myself.ironically,who were the ones who bought stuff at the end of the shopping trip?my two younger sis!!!not fair! my mom and i didn't get any stuff AT ALL!boo..it was such a good chance to let my mom buy stuff for me!i have a zillion things to buy!!but then all the clothes suddenly don't have my size anymore!boo boo boo...wasted trip, but it's still nice.:)

omg.greece won?!?i just hate it when i wake up specially to watch matches and to only to find disappointment.darn.i'm not really a portugal fan, but since all my other fav teams(england,spain and holland)are already out, portugal end up being my choice for the finals.urgh!i'm beginning to feel like i'm a jinx for all the teams that i support.boo...

just came back from deb's house. i shouldn't be coming online!gosh!i'm SOO dead.but i kept on thinking bout my blog, because i want it to be pretty and all that and obviously it's not at the moment. so i have decided to come for a little while?

so,me and deb have decided to draw a study plan and we shall make sure that we adhere to it!yeah.we shall draw the plan uh..when we change our seats!
